ZA’ ART CELEBRATES MIRCEA BALAU

ROMANIAN PAINTER & GRAPHIC DESIGNER BORN TODAY (b. 1931).

He studied at Cluj, Rome and Paris. Teacher at the Art Institute Cluj (1957-1991), part of Plastic Artists Union and president between 1970-1973.

Passionate about the moral traits of the Romanian workers, the artist was inspired by scenes from the heroic struggle of the working class. His works are full of vigor, with attention to detail. Technique used – LINOGRAFIE.
